These Terms govern your use of als-analytical.hk, the ALS Analytical client portal at portal.als-analytical.hk, and any ALS-operated sub-domain, application, or API. By accessing or using these properties you agree to these Terms.
The ALS website is operated by ALS Analytical Ltd. (HK BR No. 76239481-000-03-24-2), a company incorporated in Hong Kong SAR with its registered office at Units 2308–2312, 23/F, Kwun Tong Industrial Centre Phase 4, 480 Kwun Tong Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon. References to ‘we’, ‘us’, and ‘our’ are to that company. References to ‘you’ are to the individual, or the entity you represent, accessing the site.
You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind the entity you represent. Client-portal accounts are issued only to approved organisations and named individuals; sharing credentials is prohibited (see the Acceptable Use Policy at LEG-003).
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate any account without notice where we reasonably suspect a breach of these Terms or applicable law, or where registration information is inaccurate.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the site for lawful business purposes. You may:

All intellectual-property rights in the site (including text, graphics, code, logos, the ALS mark, method descriptions, and the ‘§ N —’ document convention) are owned by, or licensed to, ALS Analytical Ltd. Nothing in these Terms transfers any right in that IP to you. ‘ALS Analytical’, ‘ALS§’, and the peak-line device are trade-marks pending registration in Hong Kong (HKTM Appl. 305891422) and Singapore (SGIPO 40202412331).
Reports and Certificates of Analysis available through the portal are issued subject to the Testing Services Terms & Conditions (LEG-002) and the General Disclaimer (GEN-009). Reproduction of any report, in whole or in part, must be faithful to the original and include the report number and issue date. Extracts require our written consent.
The site may link to third-party websites (e.g. accreditation bodies, regulators). We do not endorse or control those sites and are not responsible for their content, practices, or availability.
We target 99.5 % monthly availability for the public site and 99.8 % for the client portal, measured on a 30-day rolling window excluding scheduled maintenance windows (typically Sundays 02:00–05:00 HKT, notified 72 h in advance). We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time without liability. Material changes to the portal that affect regulated workflows are notified in-app at least 14 days in advance.
The site is provided ‘as available’. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Information on the site is for general information only and is not a substitute for professional advice, a contractual quote, or a signed report.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the site is limited to HKD 5,000. We are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of contract, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Hong Kong law (including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
You indemnify us against any loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) suffered as a result of your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the site, or infringement of any third-party right by your submissions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, save that we may bring proceedings in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual-property rights.
