Acceptable Use Policy

• Synthetic peptides and peptide APIs.
• Small-molecule APIs and finished-dose pharmaceutical products.
• Dietary supplements, sports-nutrition powders and capsules.
• Cosmetic and personal-care raw materials and finished products.
• Research-chemical bulk materials (subject to KYC).
• Excipients, packaging leachables/extractables samples.
• Stability chamber pull-points against a signed protocol.

ALS will refuse, and treat as a material breach, any submission of:

• Human or animal clinical diagnostic specimens (blood, tissue, urine, faeces).
• Category A infectious substances (UN 2814 / UN 2900) or Risk Group 3/4 pathogens.
• Radioactive material above IAEA exempt levels.
• Explosive precursors listed in EU Reg. 2019/1148 Annex I above threshold.
• Controlled drugs outside the scope of ALS’s HK Cap. 134/138 authorisations.
• Chemical-warfare-convention Schedule 1 substances.
• Untested unknown ‘street’ samples of psychoactive substances (harm-reduction submissions are directed to specialist services).
• Live cell cultures, GMOs above biosafety-level 1, or infectious viral stocks.

• ALS reports must not be used to imply endorsement of any product by ALS or by any accreditation body.
• Reports must not be selectively excerpted to mis-represent a specification or result.
• Reports must not be issued as regulatory-submission evidence without the underlying method being described in the accompanying dossier.
• Reports must not be forwarded to third parties in a way that implies contractual privity with ALS.
• Reports on samples the Client did not lawfully own may not be released to the party in dispute over ownership without a court order.

• Credentials are personal and not to be shared; account sharing is grounds for suspension.
• MFA must be enabled within 7 days of first login.
• Automated scraping of the portal is prohibited; API access requires a separate integration agreement.
• Do not upload malware, exploit code, or attempt to test the portal’s security without a signed penetration-testing authorisation.
• Report suspected security issues via security@als-analytical.hk or the co-ordinated disclosure process (SEC-002 §07).

You warrant that samples are lawfully sourced and lawfully shipped, that you hold any licence required in the origin and destination jurisdictions, and that submission does not breach any sanctions or export-control regime. You indemnify ALS against any loss arising from breach of this warranty.

• We may reject any submission and, where required, notify the relevant regulator.
• We may suspend portal access on 24 hours’ notice and terminate accounts for repeated or serious breach.
• Fees for work already completed remain payable; deposits on rejected work may be retained to cover disposal and reporting costs.
